Wimpy's Gay Doll, purchased by Lynn Weil in 1969, was first used as a roping horse and later as a broodmare. Wimpy was crossed with several different studs having pedigrees ranging from halter to race bloodlines. Regardless of the cross, Wimpy's foals have enjoyed great success in rodeo competition. The Wimpy's Gay Doll bloodlines can still be found in many of the foals on Mar-Lyn Ranch.
